DIY Wedding Details

Wedding planning was a two part act. Planning the logistics end of it (picking a venue, finding the perfect dress, hiring a limo, getting the tuxes.. etc) and the other half was all the DIY I did. Here goes in no particular order:

Headband Necklace
Invitation

Bridesmaids Gifts - Handmade gift bag & scrapbooks

Altered Altoid Tin Favors

Thank You Cards

Jar of Wishes Message Stand

Programs

Ring Pillow

Wow, that's a whole lot of DIY. In the end, through all the labor and a few headaches, it was totally worth it. Look at us. Don't we look relieved? The fun has just begun, lol!

Our wedding memories

I've been married for about 5 months now. I'd like to say that I keep up with my scrapbooking but sadly I haven't. Too many photos, too many memories to scrap. However, I did manage to make two pages.

And the second..

When our rings were presented, our officiant recited these words to us and I really love the meaning of it.

“The Circle is a perfect figure, without beginning, without end, with no area of weakness. It is a symbol of the Cycle of Life, of birth, death, and rebirth. This shall serve as a physical reminder of your vow, and that all things begin and end and begin anew. When you are engulfed in anger or in sadness, look to your hand and let these rings shall serve to remind you that life goes on, that moments pass, yet your love is constant. When life brings you it‘s greatest joys look then to your hand as well, and remember that the Wheel turns forever onward, and it is love that turns the Wheel.”

Stay tuned for page 3 & 4 sometime way into the future. =P
